Petal & Polish Nail + skin studio

Our team

Small team, steady hands.

Six people, one small studio, and a shared habit of doing things slowly and properly. Here's who you'll meet, and why the studio exists at all.

Clean steel cuticle nippers, scissors, a pusher, and a file laid out on a fresh white towel

How it started

A studio built around one towel of tools.

Mira spent twelve years at busy downtown salons. The work was good. The pace wasn't: tools pulled from a jar, a new guest in the chair before the last one had left.

Petal & Polish started with a simple rule. Every guest gets their own sterilised tools, opened in front of them, on a clean towel, with enough time booked to do the work properly.

The skin room came next, when Juno joined. Then the waxing chair, then the petal wall. The rule hasn't changed.

What we hold to

Four promises, kept daily.

Clean you can see

Sealed pouches opened in front of you, single-use files, and a sterilisation log anyone can read.

Honest about time and price

Every service shows how long we book and where the price starts. If something would cost more, we say so first.

Quiet on purpose

No TVs, no speakerphones, no upselling in the chair. You can talk, read, or sleep.

Your skin, your call

We patch test, we ask about sensitivities, and we stop the moment something doesn't feel right.

The people

Who you'll sit with.

Mira Castell

Founder and lead nail technician · 14 years

Mira opened Petal & Polish after twelve years at busy downtown salons, where she learned what she didn't want: rushed stations and tools pulled from a jar. She still takes a full book on Saturdays and trains every new hire on our cleaning steps.

Ask about: Why your gel lifts at the sides, and how to stop it.

Juno Park

Lead esthetician, skin room · 9 years

Juno holds a college diploma in esthetics and has spent nine years in treatment rooms. She runs every facial patch test herself, and she'll tell you when a treatment isn't right for your skin that week.

Ask about: A simple routine for skin that reacts to everything.

Ama Boateng

Nail technician, pedicures and art · 6 years

Ama studied illustration before she trained in nails, and it shows in the hand-painted petals. Most days you'll find her in the pedicure chairs, where nobody is ever rushed.

Ask about: A design that still looks good at week three.

Lior Benn

Esthetician, brows and waxing · 8 years

Lior maps every brow before any wax goes on and never takes more than you agreed to. Lior also handles waxing patch tests and brow tints.

Ask about: Growing brows back after over-plucking.

Hana Ito

Studio coordinator · 5 years

Hana runs the front desk and the sterilisation room. Every autoclave cycle is logged with her initials, and she's happy to show you the log. She also matches pairs of friends to side-by-side stations.

Ask about: The quietest time of the week to book.

Everyone at the studio learns our cleaning and sterilisation steps before they work with a single guest, and we refresh that training every year. The team shown here is fictional, like the rest of this demo site.
