Built like a sail bag because it's cut from one: our tote uses 18-ounce deadstock canvas from a sailmaker's offcut program, bar-tacked at every stress point and finished with an interior zip pocket for the small stuff.
Handles are long enough to shoulder over the Deck Jacket, and the flat bottom means it stands up while you load it. It will outlast the laptop it carries.
