Short and boxy, as described
The suede is softer than I expected, and light rain hasn't hurt it. It is cropped, so it hits at the hip. The price is high, but it feels like it will last for decades.

Warm and not itchy
I can't wear wool, so I gave up on fisherman sweaters years ago. This one is cotton, thick and soft. Three cold washes in and it hasn't stretched out.

Rained all week, stayed dry
Wore it every day on a rainy work trip. The wax beaded the water right off, and the collar actually blocks wind when you turn it up. My usual M fits over a thick sweater.

The collar stays flat
Ten washes in and the collar still lies flat. Heavy without being hot. I took my usual L. It is square and a little short, which is the point.

Roomier than I expected
Lovely knit. It is more relaxed than I thought, so if you like a closer fit, take a size down. I kept mine because I like it slouchy.

I sized up so it would fit over a sweater, like the fit note suggests. Soft shoulders, and it moves like a cardigan.

Stiff at first, worth it
Out of the box it is stiff and smells a little of wax. After two weeks it softened and now it creases where I bend. One star off because the wax rubbed onto a light shirt the first few wears.

Thanks, Owen. That can happen for the first few wears while the wax settles. Wiping the inside of the collar with a warm, dry cloth helps. We have added this tip to the care card.

Pilled under the arms
The colour is beautiful and it fits well. After a month it pilled a little under the arms, where my bag strap rubs.

Too warm for my city
A beautiful coat, but far too warm for where I live, so I sent it back. The return was easy and the refund came quickly.
