All conditions, explained plainly-
Acne
Blocked, inflamed oil glands — the most common skin condition there is, in teens and well into adulthood.

Eczema (atopic dermatitis)
A dry, itchy, easily-irritated skin barrier that flares and settles in cycles. Common in children; plenty of adults have it too.

Psoriasis
An immune condition where skin cells turn over too fast, building well-defined scaly plaques. It is not contagious, and it is very treatable.

Rosacea
A tendency to flush and stay red across the cheeks, nose, and chin, sometimes with acne-like bumps or irritated eyes.

Moles & changing spots
Most moles are harmless collections of pigment cells. The job is telling the stable many from the rare one that is changing.

The most common cancers there are — and among the most treatable when found early. Basal cell and squamous cell grow locally; melanoma is the rarer, more serious one.

A full-body exam is a systematic, head-to-toe look by a board-certified dermatologist — dermatoscope on anything interesting, photos of anything worth watching, and a biopsy only when it is warranted. Found early, skin cancer is among the most treatable cancers there are.
Priority track — not an emergency
A new, changing, or bleeding spot deserves a prompt look — not panic. We hold priority slots so these visits are seen within about five business days. That is a medically appropriate timeline: most changing spots turn out to be benign, and the ones that are not are still best served by a careful exam, a dermatoscope, and a biopsy — none of which an emergency room does better.
The Aster Acne Program
Twelve weeks with a plan beats two years of guessing
A structured 12-week medical treatment cycle — assessed, prescribed, and adjusted on a schedule, so treatment actually gets somewhere instead of restarting every few months.
- Week 0 Assessment visit. Grading (type, severity, scarring risk), history including everything you have already tried, and a written starting plan — usually two or three steps, not eleven.
- Week 6 Adjustment visit. Skin re-graded against Week 0 photos. Working parts stay; anything stalled gets changed. This is the visit most drugstore journeys never get.
- Week 12 Outcomes visit. Compare against baseline honestly. Most patients see meaningful clearing by now; if you are the exception, this is where we discuss the next tier — hormonal therapy or isotretinoin — with real information.
