Insurance & pricing
Covered, or clearly priced
Medical dermatology bills to insurance like any specialist care; cosmetic care never does. Either way, the numbers live on this page — real totals, not teaser rates — because 'ask about pricing' is not a price.
Plans we accept
- Blue Granite Health (PPO & HMO)
- Meridian Mutual
- Lakestate Health Plans
- Cardinal Care PPO
- Huron Valley Employers Trust
- Medicare (traditional, with supplement)
(A design demo means a fictional practice — these plans are invented, like everything else on this site.)
Medical dermatology visits — rashes, moles, screenings, acne — bill to insurance like any specialist visit. Your plan's specialist copay and deductible apply.
We check your benefits before your visit and tell you about any referral requirement your plan has — a few of the HMO plans need one from your primary doctor.
Cosmetic treatments are never billed to insurance, by us or anyone else. Those prices are published plainly on the cosmetic page instead.
Not on our list, or no coverage? Self-pay prices below are the real, whole numbers — not a starting point.
Self-pay
Medical visit prices, published
No insurance, a plan we don’t take, or a deductible that makes you the payer — these are the whole numbers. Anything beyond them (an unexpected procedure, an extra biopsy) is quoted in the room before it happens.

Cosmetic — always self-pay
Cosmetic ranges, no asterisks
Every cosmetic plan starts with a physician consult ($75, credited toward any treatment you book). Cosmetic care is self-pay — insurance is never billed — and no one here works on commission.
