Saturday morning screenings are open this month. Pick a time

Ridgeline

Candidacy self-check · 2 minutes

Am I a candidate? Start here.

Six questions, no contact details. Your answers point to the conversation worth having at a screening. They cannot tell you yes or no: only an in-person exam can.

Why it cannot decide: candidacy depends on your corneal map, tears and eye health, which only an exam measures.

How old are you?
What do you rely on today?
How strong is your prescription?

Look at your glasses or contact box. A number like -2.50 is mild to moderate; -8.00 is strong.

Has it changed in the last 12 months?
Do any of these sound familiar?

Pick all that apply.

What actually decides

Six measurements no quiz can take

Your free screening measures each of these. Together they decide whether surgery is safe for your eyes, and which kind.

  1. TOPO

    Corneal map

The shape and thickness of your cornea, point by point. The single most important check for laser candidacy.

  2. WAVE

    Wavefront

How light actually travels through your eye, including small distortions glasses cannot fix.

  3. TEAR

    Tear film

How stable your tears are. Dry eye changes both the plan and the recovery.

  4. PUPIL

    Pupil in dim light

Larger pupils can mean more night halos. It shapes which option we suggest.

  5. RX

    Prescription stability

We compare with your old glasses or records. A shifting prescription means wait.

  6. OCT

    Retina and nerve scan

A health check of the back of the eye, so nothing else is hiding behind blurry vision.
