No — and anyone who says otherwise is selling something. One facial gives you a week or two of glow and cleaner pores. Texture, post-breakout marks, and pigment change over a series: typically four to six peels or laser sessions spaced a month apart, with results still building 8–12 weeks after the last one. We'll always tell you the honest timeline at your first analysis.

Deliberately both, with a bright line down the middle. Facials, peels, brows, and lashes are aesthetician services in a salon setting. Injectables and laser protocols are medicine: they run under our medical director, Dr. Renée Okafor, with injectables performed only on Tuesday and Thursday medical days after an in-person candidacy consult.

Your monthly fee converts to banked credits — $109 buys $109 in credit on Glow; the bigger tiers bank slightly more than you pay ($215 on Lustre's $199, $385 on Golden Hour's $349). Credits stack for 12 months, apply at face value to any aesthetician service or skincare, and member percentage discounts cover whatever your credits don't. The honest part: if you visit less than every 8 weeks, skip the membership — à-la-carte is better value and we'll tell you so.

At face value, yes — $200 of credits is $200 off a neuromodulator appointment. But member percentage discounts never apply to injectables or medical consults. Dosing decisions are clinical ones, and we keep discount pressure permanently out of that room.

The Signature Glow facial (no extractions that close), an LED session, and brow/lash work up to one week out. What we won't book inside 14 days of a big day: peels, laser, or any injectable — flaking and bruises don't respect calendars. If your event is further out, the Glow-Plan quiz will sequence a proper countdown.

Always, for every new client — a 30-minute candidacy consult ($75, credited toward treatment if you proceed) with our medical team. Medical history, facial assessment, and an honest recommendation, which about one in five times is 'not yet' or 'a facial series will serve you better.' The consultation determines candidacy; booking it doesn't guarantee treatment, and that's by design.

Our nurse injector or Dr. Okafor herself, under Dr. Okafor's prescription and on-site supervision — never an aesthetician. Aestheticians at Lumière do what aestheticians are licensed to do brilliantly; needles that go under the skin are the medical team's territory.

Plenty: our pregnancy-safe facial protocol (no strong acids or retinol), LED light therapy, brow shaping and lamination, and lash lifts. What waits until after: all injectables (a hard stop, no exceptions), strong peels, and laser treatments. Tell us when you book and we'll adjust everything automatically.

Accutane means no peels or laser until 6–12 months after your course ends, with your prescriber's OK — the skin is genuinely fragile during and after treatment. Prescription retinoids just need a pause: 5–7 days before a peel, 3 days before brow waxing. Always list your actives on the intake form; it changes what we mix.

Reschedule — free of charge, always, and please don't tough it out. Facials, peels, and especially lip treatments can spread an active cold sore across a much wider area. If you have a cold-sore history and want lip hydration, tell the medical team: pre-treating with antivirals is standard and works.

Because laminations and lash lifts are perms, and re-perming hair before it recovers is how brows snap off. The 6–8 week minimum is enforced in the software and by our artists — Jade has refused laminations over compromised brows before and will again. It's the least glamorous thing we do and the one our regulars end up most grateful for.

24 hours' notice moves or cancels anything free of charge. Inside 24 hours we charge 50% (it holds a room and an artist); no-shows are charged in full. Members get one inside-24-hours grace per year, because life. Running 10+ minutes late may shorten your treatment so the next guest starts on time.
