Hygiene + safety
The standards, in writing
Ask for the logs — genuinely. A studio that's proud of its back room should be happy to show it.

Autoclave, logged
Every metal tool — tweezers, extractors, scissors — cycles through a hospital-grade autoclave between guests, with cycle logs kept and available. If it can't be autoclaved, it's single-use.

Single-use everything else
Brushes, spatulas, lancets, applicators, needles: opened in front of you, binned after you. Product is decanted with a clean spatula, never fingers, never double-dipped.

Licensed devices only
Every laser, LED panel, and product in the building is Health Canada–licensed, serviced on schedule, and operated under written protocols reviewed by our medical director.

Patch tests, enforced
First peel, first laser, first tint — a patch test 48 hours ahead, no exceptions, even when your event is soon. Especially when your event is soon.

A file for every face
What we used, at what strength, and how your skin responded — written down every visit. Your third appointment should be smarter than your first.

The right to say no
Compromised barrier, over-processed brows, a contraindication on the intake form: our team is paid to decline treatments, and does. Slower is faster.
Where the line sits
Aestheticians do the artistry. Medicine stays medical.
Facials, peels, brows, and lashes are aesthetician work, and ours are exceptional at it. Injectables and laser protocols are medicine: prescribed and overseen by Dr. Renée Okafor, our medical director, with injectables performed only on Tuesday and Thursday medical days — after a consultation that determines whether treatment is right for you at all.
That structure isn't bureaucracy; it's the product. It's why about one in five injectable consults here ends in "not yet" — and why the ones that proceed look like themselves afterward.
