Reviews
What people say after a winter.
We ask for a review twice: a week after the pour, and again after the first winter, when concrete shows what it is made of. The 4-star ones stay up, with our replies.

“Three bids, and Keyway was the only one who explained what was going under the slab. They dug out a lot more soft clay than I expected and showed me before charging for it. Two winters in, no flaking.”

“They poured a little sample board in our color first, which saved us from picking a gray that would have looked purple next to the brick. The joints really do disappear into the pattern.”
Tom and Alicia V., Hudsonville Stamped patio · Stamped, one color -

“My old steps were all different heights. The new ones are even, the landing is deep enough for the storm door, and they cast in sleeves for a railing. The plank path kept the front door usable.”
Darnell W., Wyoming Front walk and steps · Broom -

“Good work, clear prices. A hairline crack showed up in one panel the first winter and I was annoyed. They came out, showed me it was inside the joint, and sealed it anyway. Fair enough.”
Patricia K., Grandville Driveway and apron · Broom Our reply
Thanks, Patricia. That crack is the joint doing its job, but we would rather come look than have you wonder. Ruben

“They booked the footing inspection themselves and the framer started on the date they gave him. Square and level, and the office texted me every step.”
Sam O., Walker Garage footings and floor · Broom -

“Grippy, cool on bare feet and it hides the dirt. The cure card on the fridge was a nice touch; my kids actually followed it.”

“Rain pushed our pour back twice, which was frustrating in a short summer. But they would not pour into a storm and I get why now. The patio itself is great.”
Greg L., Rockford Patio and fire pit pad · Colored broom Our reply
Rain on fresh concrete washes the cement off the top and weakens it for good. We will always move the date before we risk that. Thanks for your patience, Greg.

“I called asking for a new driveway. Amira told me mine was still level and solid and sold me a $900 clean, joint seal and seal instead. Who does that?”
Lena M., Grand Rapids Clean, seal and joint sealing · Repair -

“Two-tone ashlar with a smooth border. Looks like stone from the street. They told us straight that it needs resealing every two to three years, and they send a reminder.”
Victor and June P., Cascade Stamped entry court · Stamped, multi-color -

“Small job, 12 by 16, and they were upfront that it would hit the minimum. Thickened edges, bolts where the kit needed them, done in a morning.”
Rob T., Jenison Shed slab · Broom -

When something is wrong
How we handle a call-back.
-
01
We come look
Within a week, warranty or not. Most worries are a joint doing its job, and we would rather show you than argue on the phone.
-
02
We say what it is
Shrinkage, settling, a bad finish or salt. In writing, with photos, and whether the warranty covers it.
-
03
We fix what is ours
Seal it, grind it, or saw-cut and replace the panel. If it is not ours, we tell you the cheapest honest fix.
