Marcus D. with Rocco, 2-year-old shepherd mix

How we train
Kind methods. Real results.
We reward the choices we want to see with food, toys, play and praise. No prong, choke or shock collars, ever. Dogs learn faster when they feel safe, and you get a dog who listens because they want to.

Questions owners ask us
What training methods do you use?
Positive reinforcement. We reward the choices we want to see with food, toys, play and praise. We never use prong, choke or shock collars, and we never use force.
How do I know which program is right for my dog?
Use the program matcher. It asks five quick questions and suggests a program. If you are still not sure, call us for a free 15-minute chat and we will help you choose.
What vaccines does my dog need for group classes?
Puppies need their first set of vaccines at least 7 days before class. Adult dogs need current rabies and DHPP vaccines. We recommend the kennel cough vaccine too. Ask your vet if you are not sure.
My dog barks at other dogs. Can we join a group class?
Not as a first step. Busy rooms are hard on reactive dogs. Start with the Reactive Dog Program, and when your dog is ready, Calm Walkers is a small group built for dogs like yours.
Do you guarantee results?
No honest trainer can guarantee how a living animal will behave. We do promise a clear plan, real coaching and support between sessions. Most families see clear progress within a few weeks of steady practice.
Ready for your first little win?
