Up to three days ahead, any time from opening until 20 minutes before close.

Hot drinks wait 15 minutes. After that, ask at the counter and we'll remake your drink for free. Food waits until close.

Call your cafe before your pickup time. We'll change it or cancel it, and you won't be charged for anything you didn't get.

Oat, almond and soy, each 75 cents. Lactose-free milk is free. Any drink can be made dairy-free except the hot chocolate, whose sauce contains milk.

The banana loaf and overnight oats are made without gluten ingredients, in a kitchen that uses wheat flour every day. We can't call them safe for celiac disease.

Yes. Almonds are in the almond croissant and the almond milk, and they're handled in the same kitchen as everything else. Please tell us about a nut allergy before you order.

Yes, at Fernwood and Cook Street, which have Wi-Fi and outlets. On weekends from 9 to 1, we ask that the big tables be kept for people eating. James Bay has no Wi-Fi on purpose.

Dogs are welcome on the Fernwood and James Bay patios, with water bowls out all day. Inside, health rules allow service dogs only.

Street parking at all three cafes. Cook Street is two-hour parking; Fernwood has bike racks out front.

Fernwood has a step-free entrance and an accessible washroom. Cook Street has one small step and a portable ramp on request. At James Bay the walk-up window is step-free and we'll happily bring your order out.

Give us your phone number at the till or when you order ahead. Every drink earns a stamp, and your 10th drink is on us. No app needed.

Each stamp lasts 12 months from the day you earn it.
