The fine print, in plain words
Order-ahead runs from opening until 20 minutes before close at each cafe:
- Fernwood6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Cook Street6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- James Bay7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Ready in about 10 minutes
- Most orders take 8 to 12 minutes. Pour-overs about 15. At 8 a.m. on a weekday, allow a few more.
- Up to three days ahead
- From opening until 20 minutes before close. Perfect for a Saturday pastry run.
- Up to 8 drinks per order
- Feeding a bigger group? A coffee traveler serves 10 to 12 and is easier to carry.
- Running late is fine
- Hot drinks are held 15 minutes. After that, ask at the counter and we'll remake it for free.
- Changes and cancellations
- Call your cafe before your pickup time and we'll fix it. Nobody gets charged for a drink they didn't get.
- Stamps add themselves
- Order with the same phone number and every drink counts toward your Regulars Card.
Paying
Pay online at checkout, or at the counter
On the real site, card payment happens on our point-of-sale provider's secure checkout. Prefer to pay in person? Choose "pay at pickup" and settle up at the till. Either way, your stamps are added to your Regulars Card automatically.

What if I'm late?
Hot drinks wait 15 minutes. After that, ask at the counter and we'll remake your drink for free. Food waits until close.
Can I change or cancel an order?
Call your cafe before your pickup time. We'll change it or cancel it, and you won't be charged for anything you didn't get.
Your usual, ready when you are
Order ahead from any of our three cafes and your drink waits on the shelf with your name on it. Or come in, sit down and stay a while.
