Preschool Dance
Short, joyful classes built for small bodies and short attention spans, taught by a trained early childhood educator.
About Preschool Dance
Good for
- A first activity outside the house
- Kids who dance around the kitchen
- Building listening and turn-taking before school
Our youngest dancers learn through stories, scarves, bubbles and music. Classes are short on purpose, because a happy 30 minutes beats a teary 60.
Parents and caregivers can watch every class through the big lobby window. Tiny Toes is danced together with a grown-up, so nobody has to say goodbye at the door yet.
7 classes a week across 5 days. See them

Priya Raman
Preschool dance
Priya is a trained early childhood educator who also happens to have danced her whole life. Her preschool classes use stories, props and short bursts of movement, because three-year-olds learn in short bursts.
"Our daughter was so shy she hid behind my legs at the trial. Priya let her watch from the doorway for two weeks. Now she counts us in at home."

Preschool Dance: questions
Does my child need to be potty trained?
Not for Tiny Toes, since you are in class with them. For Little Movers we ask that they can use the washroom with a little help; the teacher will walk them to the door and fetch you.
What if my child cries or will not join in?
Very normal. Sit at the window for a few weeks and let them watch. Most children join in by the third class. If it is not working, we will move you to Tiny Toes or pause with no fee.
Do preschoolers dance in the recital?
If you want them to. They dance one short number, with their teacher on stage beside them, in the shorter afternoon show.
