Music is a team sport

Private lessons build the skill; playing with other people builds the musician. Three ways in: a real band program for teens, a no-audition choir for young singers, and a band night for the adults who "used to play." Every price below, as always.

01

Rock Band Lab

$135/mo

Ages 10–17 · Thursdays 6:30–8:00 p.m.

Real bands of four or five kids, coached — not conducted — through a set list they pick, ending in two real shows a year.

  • Weekly 90-minute band rehearsal with a coach in the room
  • Bands capped at five players; everyone is load-bearing
  • Two shows a year on a real stage with a real sound check
  • Set lists chosen by the band, vetoed only for logistics, never taste

02

Kids Choir

$58/mo

Ages 6–11 · Wednesdays 4:30–5:15 p.m.

A no-audition choir where young singers learn pitch, parts, and the specific joy of a room singing together.

  • Weekly 45 minutes, September through May
  • No audition, ever — matching pitch is the curriculum, not the entry bar
  • Two-part singing by spring; both recitals include a choir set
  • The honest on-ramp for singers under our private-lesson start age of 8

03

Adult Band Night

$75/mo

18+ · Every other Tuesday, 7:00–9:00 p.m.

Every other week, adults who 'used to play' plug in, get assigned a song, and remember why they started.

  • Two-hour session every other Tuesday — low commitment on purpose
  • Rotating lineups so nobody is stuck with anybody forever
  • One optional, extremely low-stakes showcase per year
  • All levels past 'knows three chords or one groove' welcome

How to join

Group programs enroll by a short conversation, not a wizard — call the desk or mention it at any trial lesson. Rock Band Lab placements happen twice a year (September and February); choir and band night join any month, prorated to the day, math shown on the invoice.

Not sure the group room is ready for you yet?

That's what the free trial is for — a teacher will tell you honestly whether it's six months of lessons first or straight into the band. Both answers are free.
