Music schools love "call for tuition." We publish the whole thing instead: lesson rates, the monthly math, the one registration fee and what it pays for, and a standing list of fees this school refuses to invent. Cross-check your invoice against this page any month you like.

Why two monthly numbers? Monthly tuition is the lesson rate × the lessons in that month — four in most months, five in some. A five-lesson month costs more because you get more lessons. We don't average it into a flat rate you can't audit. Same teacher, same slot, month to month — no semester contracts, and quitting requires a sentence, not a form.

The anti-hidden-fee section
Every fee, listed — most of them zero
The industry norm is a $75–95 registration fee, a $40-ish recital fee, and a shrug about materials. Here's our entire fee schedule instead, each line with its reason attached.
Annual registration
$35 / family / yearOne fee per family, not per student. It covers scheduling software, liability insurance, and sheet-music licensing — and we just told you that, which most schools won't.
Recitals (two per year)
$0December and May. No performer fee, no tickets at the door, no costume requirement. Teachers accompany their students as part of the job, not for an accompanist surcharge.
Books & materials
$8–$24 per book, at costTwo to three method books a year, sold at what we paid or buy them anywhere else — we'll write down exactly which editions.
Instrument rental
$0 — we don't rentWe refer you to a local shop (violins ~$22–28/mo, saxophones ~$38–45/mo, rent-to-own credit included) and take no commission. A school that rents to you has an opinion about how long you should stay.
Missed lessons
$0 with 24 hours' noticeSwap into the makeup pool with a day's notice. No-shows are charged, because the teacher's hour is already spent. A teacher-missed lesson is always credited — no asterisk.
Fees we don't charge

- Raise-by-stealth: prices change at most once a year, in writing, in June
Sliding scale, quietly
Three sliding-scale seats per term, first-come, no essay required — ask at the desk or by email. Nobody's name is published and nobody's teacher is told.
The trial costs nothing — including later
No card on file, no 'your free trial has converted' email, no surprise on invoice one. If the numbers on this page ever disagree with your bill, the page wins and we fix the bill.
