Built into every program
Mental health and substance use care
Anxiety, depression, trauma and substance use often show up together. We treat them together too.
One team for both
- How long
- For as long as you are in any of our programs, and help finding ongoing care after.
- Where
- Part of detox, residential and outpatient care, in person or by video.
- Self-pay
- Often included in your program day rate
What it is
Many people who come to us are also living with anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder or ADHD. Sometimes using started as a way to cope. Sometimes it made the hard feelings worse. Usually it is a bit of both.
Here, mental health care is not a referral to somewhere else. Our psychiatric nurse practitioner and licensed counselors work in the same building as your substance use care, and they talk to each other. One plan, one team.
We use approaches with good research behind them, like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills, and trauma-informed care, explained in plain language.

- You take medicine for mental health and want it managed alongside your recovery
- You have been through trauma and want care that is gentle about it

Cost and insurance
What it costs, honestly
Mental health care is covered alongside substance use treatment by most plans. Federal parity law means your plan generally cannot cover it less well than other medical care.
How insurance works hereSelf-pay ranges
- Psychiatric visits Self-pay; often included in your program day rate
- $180 to $320 per visit
Ranges, not quotes. Your real cost depends on your plan, your deductible and the care you choose. We tell you before you start.
Questions about dual diagnosis
Which comes first, the mental health or the substance use?
We do not make you pick. Both get attention from the start, because treating one while ignoring the other rarely works.
Will you take me off my mental health medicine?
Not without talking with you. Our nurse practitioner reviews what you take and why, and any change is a decision you make together.
Other programs
Confidential, always
Ready when you are. Or when they are.
Start a confidential intake in about five minutes, or call and talk it through with a real person. No pressure, no lecture, and nothing is decided until you say so.
Not for emergencies. If someone may be overdosing, call 911. In crisis, call or text 988.
