The Atrium model only works because each physician carries a small panel. Membership is mutual fit — members choose their physician, the physician decides whether their panel can take a new member. Below, the three physicians, in detail.
Anna founded Atrium in 2019 after twelve years on faculty at MGH and on the Harvard primary-care faculty. She trained physicians in internal medicine, but spent a decade frustrated by the structural pressure of fee-for-service medicine. Atrium is the practice she wanted to be a patient at.
Marcus joined Atrium in 2022 from a 14-physician group practice. His clinical focus is cardiometabolic — hypertension, lipid management, prediabetes. He is the physician who reviews every member's ASCVD risk score during the annual physical.
Imani joined Atrium in 2024 from the Stanford faculty, where she practiced primary care and team-medicine for the Stanford athletics department. Her clinical focus is musculoskeletal medicine, sports performance, and adolescent care.
