You don't need a diagnosis to deserve therapy.
Most of what brings members to Sanctum isn't a clinical diagnosis. It's the slow accumulation of this isn't working anymore. Here's the range of what we see most — and what we're trained to help with.
Anxiety
The most common reason members come to Sanctum.
Generalized worry, panic attacks, social anxiety, health anxiety, OCD-adjacent patterns. We match you to therapists trained in CBT, ACT, and somatic approaches.
Depression
From low-grade flat to deep darkness.
Whether you're navigating a recent rough patch or you've been mildly depressed for years. Often combined with psychiatry consultation when medication is part of the picture.
Trauma + PTSD
When the past keeps interrupting the present.
Single-incident, complex, childhood, recent. Our trauma specialists are EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and IFS-trained — often used in combination.
Burnout
Exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix.
Career burnout, caregiver burnout, the kind that creeps up over years. We work with values clarification, boundary-setting, and the deeper questions about how you got here.
ADHD
Diagnosed late, or wondering if you should be.
Adult ADHD therapy + ongoing support. Many Sanctum therapists specialize in ADHD specifically — they understand the executive-function challenges and the emotional residue of late diagnosis.
Couples + relationships
Communication, attachment, repair.
300+ of our therapists are Gottman or EFT-trained for couples work. We also do family-systems work for parent–teen and blended-family dynamics. Weekend slots usually available.
Postpartum + perinatal
The mood shifts no one warned you about.
Postpartum anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, identity shift. Many of our clinicians specialize specifically in the perinatal period.
Grief
Recent and not so recent.
Bereavement, anticipatory grief, ambiguous loss, pet loss. We don't try to move you through stages — grief doesn't work that way. We help you build a life that holds the loss.
Life transitions
When 'who you are' is shifting.
Career change, divorce, retirement, kids leaving home, midlife reckoning, gender transition, immigration. Not about a diagnosis — about who you're becoming.
Some things need a different kind of care.
