How we build it

Aluminum is the fence for yards with something to see. It marks the line, keeps kids and dogs in, and leaves the view open. Ours is powder-coated black, comes in flat-top or spear-top styles, and racks to follow gentle slopes without gaps. It will not rust, so there is no scraping and repainting like old iron.

Is aluminum strong enough for a big dog?

For most dogs, yes. Residential aluminum is not meant to be climbed or rammed, so for a strong jumper we may suggest 5 ft or a commercial grade.

What is racking?

Racking tilts each section so the rails follow the slope while the pickets stay straight up. It avoids the stair-step gaps you see on cheaper installs.
