Pricing
Prices by lawn size, out in the open.
Every price is a range for one lawn size band, because slopes, gates and obstacles change how long a visit takes. We confirm one firm price after measuring on the first visit, and ask before charging anything above your range.
Step one: find your lawn size
Sizes are turf area, not lot size. A quarter-acre lot often has about 6,000 sq ft of actual lawn once you take out the house, driveway and beds.
-
Small
Under 5,000 sq ft
Townhome, or a city lot with a small front and back
-
Medium
5,000 to 9,000 sq ft
Most suburban homes on a quarter acre
-
Large
9,000 to 14,000 sq ft
Corner lots and cul-de-sac pie lots
-
Extra large
14,000 to 20,000 sq ft
Half-acre lots with open lawn front and back

What moves a price inside the range
- Slopes and ditches
- Steep banks are mowed with a different machine or by hand. Usually $5 to $15 more a visit.
- Backyard access
- A narrow gate means a smaller mower and more time. We price it once, on the first visit.
- Lots of obstacles
- Play sets, many beds and tree rings add trimming time. Open lawns sit at the low end of the range.
- An overgrown first cut
- Over 8 inches at the first visit, the first mow is one and a half times the visit price. Only once.
- Bagging clippings
- We mulch by default. Bagging adds $8 to $15 a visit, and we do it free on the first spring cut.
Never on your bill
- Fuel surcharges
- Setup or signup fees
- Cancellation fees
- Annual contracts
- Charges for a round we skipped
How billing works
Card on file. Single services are charged after each visit, with the visit note attached. Plans are eight equal monthly payments. Ohio sales tax applies to lawn care and is shown on every invoice.
