How a job runs

Process

Six steps from the first visit to the final walkthrough. Most of the work you'll never see: the filling, sanding, caulking and priming that make the two finish coats look sharp for years.

Six steps

  1. Step 1: Estimate visit

We walk every room or wall with you, measure, note repairs and answer questions. About 30 to 45 minutes, and free.

Bring your wish list and any colour ideas. If you're not sure yet, that's normal.

  2. Step 2: Written quote in 48 hours

A line-by-line quote lands in your inbox within two business days: prep, repairs, coats, paint line and timeline.

The number we write is the number we hold to unless you change the scope.

  3. Step 3: Colours and calendar

We help you settle colours, confirm your start date and introduce your crew lead by name.

A deposit holds your date. The balance is due only after your final walkthrough.

  4. Step 4: Protect and prep

Furniture covered, floors protected, plastic up where it's needed. Then we fill, sand, caulk and prime.

This is the slow part, and it's the part that makes the finish last.

  5. Step 5: Two full coats

Lines cut by hand at ceilings and trim, walls rolled evenly, trim and doors in a hard enamel.

We clean up every afternoon so you get your rooms back each evening.

  6. Step 6: Walkthrough and warranty

You walk the job with the crew lead and mark anything you'd like touched up. We fix it before we leave.

You get labelled leftover paint and your written warranty.

A day in your home

Same crew every day, same start time, and your rooms back every evening. If anything changes, your crew lead tells you that morning, not at the end.

  1. 7:45 a.m. Crew arrives, says hello, sets up in the driveway or garage.
  2. 8:00 a.m. Rooms protected, prep and repairs start.
  3. Noon Lunch break, outside your home, not in it.
  4. 3:30 p.m. Last coat of the day goes on, so it can dry overnight.
  5. 4:15 p.m. Clean-up: tools out, floors swept, rooms put back so you can use them tonight.

How we protect your home

  • Canvas drop cloths on carpet, taped paper on wood and tile
  • Furniture moved to the centre and wrapped in plastic
  • Plastic sheeting and zip doors when we sand or spray
  • Outlets and switch plates removed and bagged by room
  • Shoe covers inside, always
  • Paint chips and dust collected every afternoon

What we ask of you

  • Clear small things off walls and shelves: photos, lamps, anything breakable.
  • Tell us about pets, alarm codes and any rooms that are off limits.
  • Leave the heavy lifting to us. Big furniture is part of the job.
What happens after we leave
