Drive-up units

Drive-up storage units

Back your truck up to your own roll-up door. Sizes from 5×10 to 10×30.

How it works here

Drive-up units sit in single-story rows with a roll-up door on the outside. You park right at the door, so moving day is short: open, unload, lock, done.

They're the best value per square foot we have, and the only choice for the biggest sizes. What they are not is cooled. Read the honest note below before you put anything heat-sensitive inside.

Good for

  • Moving and between-homes storage
  • Patio furniture, tools and yard gear
  • Contractors who need to load fast
  • One car in a 10×20

Plain truth

In July, a closed metal unit gets hot

On a summer afternoon in the East Valley, the inside of a drive-up unit can run well over 100°F. Furniture in good shape, tools, bikes, totes of kitchenware and patio sets are fine. Photos, electronics, vinyl records, candles, wood instruments and important papers belong in a climate-controlled unit.

Load straight off the truck

Drive-up aisles are 30 feet wide, so a 26-foot moving truck can back up to your door and still leave room to pass. Reserve at Chandler and the 15-foot move-in truck is free for 3 hours.
