Maintenance programs
The part most programs skip. Lighter check-ins, a plan for medication changes, and a team to call when life gets busy.
Overview
Reaching a steady point is a milestone, not a finish line. Maintenance is care too.
Your body pushes back after weight changes. Appetite and energy use can shift for a long time. That is biology, not a lack of willpower, and it is why we plan for the long run.
In maintenance you see us less often, every four to eight weeks. We keep an eye on your labs, your strength and your habits, and we make small changes early instead of big ones late.
If you take medication, maintenance is where we decide together whether to keep the dose, lower it or slowly stop, with a plan for each choice.
Who it fits
This may be a good fit if:
- You have reached a point you feel good about and want to keep it
- You plan to lower or stop a medication and want support doing it slowly
- You did well in a program before and want a lighter level of care
Good to plan for
- Some weight regain is common, especially after stopping medication
- Holidays, injuries and stressful seasons happen, and we plan around them
- You can move back to a fuller program at any time, no penalty
What happens
-
Step 1: Transition visit
We review what worked, set your steady range and agree on early-warning signs.
-
Step 2: Check-ins every 4 to 8 weeks
Short visits, often by video, with a body composition scan when you are in the clinic.
-
Step 3: Labs once or twice a year
Blood sugar, cholesterol and anything else your history calls for.
-
Step 4: Rejoin anytime
If things drift, you can step back into a supervised program the same month.

Compare all programsWhy maintenance matters
Many people regain some weight after a program ends, with or without medication. That is common and it is not a failure. Regular, light-touch care helps you catch changes early.
We do not promise that weight will stay off. We promise to stay in it with you.
Questions
Do I have to have been in one of your programs?
No. If you reached a steady point somewhere else, or on your own, you can start with a transition visit.
What happens if I regain weight?
We look at what changed, without blame, and adjust. That might mean more frequent visits for a while or a step back into a supervised plan.
