Nutrition coaching with a registered dietitian
One-on-one sessions with a registered dietitian who plans around the food you like, the time you have and the people you eat with.
Overview
There is no single right way to eat. There is a way that works for your life, and we help you find it.
Your dietitian starts with what you eat now, without judgment. Then you build small, specific changes together: more protein and fiber, easier breakfasts, a plan for eating out, a grocery list that fits your budget.
If you take a GLP-1 medication, nutrition matters even more. Smaller appetites still need enough protein to protect muscle, and some meals sit better than others when you feel queasy. We plan for both.
We never sell supplements, shakes or meal kits. You eat real food from your own kitchen or your usual store.
Who it fits
This may be a good fit if:
- You are tired of rigid diets and want something you can keep doing
- You cook for a family and need meals everyone eats
- You take a GLP-1 medication and want to protect muscle and manage nausea
- You have prediabetes, PCOS or high cholesterol and want food that helps
We will slow down and adjust if
- Food has felt out of control or frightening for you
- You have a history of an eating disorder (we may bring in a specialist)
- Money or time makes cooking hard right now
What happens
-
Step 1: First session, 50 minutes
Your routine, your favorite foods, your goals. You leave with two or three changes, not twenty.
-
Step 2: A plan on paper
Simple meal ideas, a grocery list and a protein guide sized to you.
-
Step 3: Follow-ups, 25 minutes
Every two to four weeks. What worked, what did not, what to try next.
-
Step 4: Optional group class
A monthly cooking and label-reading class at the Cary clinic, free for members.

Count every calorie forever, cut out whole food groups without a medical reason, buy our products, or eat food that does not feel like yours.
If a change does not fit your culture, budget or schedule, it is the wrong change. Tell us and we will find another.
Questions
Do I need to be in a program to see the dietitian?
No. You can book single sessions. Most people find it easier inside a program because the follow-ups are included.
Can my partner come to the session?
Yes, please bring whoever cooks or shops with you. Plans work better when the household is in on them.
