A contact lens is a medical device you wear on living tissue for sixteen hours a day. The fitting exists so it fits — the brand on the box matters less than the numbers underneath it.
The fitting, in order
A full eye exam plus keratometry — the curvature numbers a safe fit is built on. Contacts sit on your cornea; we measure it, we don’t guess.
You leave wearing diagnostic lenses matched to your measurements and your actual day — screen hours, sports, air conditioning and all.
New wearers practise insertion, removal, and care with Marcus until it’s boring. Nobody leaves until it’s easy — that’s included, not extra.
We check the fit on-eye, confirm your vision holds through a full day, and only then finalize the prescription and order your supply.
We prescribe by lens design and material rather than pushing one brand — your prescription is portable and we’ll hand you a copy without being asked. Fitting fees are for the professional work, so they apply wherever you buy your lenses afterwards.

Fitting fees
Trials, the teach session, and the follow-up are included. The specialty assessment is credited toward the fitting if we proceed.
Wear them well
Never sleep in lenses that aren’t designed for it.
Overnight wear in daytime lenses multiplies infection risk. No exceptions for “just a nap.”
Water and lenses don’t mix.
No showers, no swimming, no rinsing the case under the tap. Tap water carries organisms that like corneas.
A red, painful eye means the lens comes out — then you call us.
