Patient reviews

What patients tell us, including the parts we could do better.

We read every review and reply to the critical ones. When someone tells us Saturdays book up or the waiting room ran late, it goes on the agenda for our Monday team meeting.

Reviews

  • September 2026

“Longest eye exam I’ve ever had, in a good way. Dr. Krishnan turned the screen around and walked me through my retinal photos. I left with my prescription in hand without having to ask for it.”

    Hannah L.

    Comprehensive eye exam

  • August 2026

“I asked about the blue-light coating and Priya told me straight that the evidence is weak and I’d be better off taking screen breaks. Saved me $40 and earned my trust for the next ten years.”

“My son was nervous. Dr. Roy explained every machine before using it and let him press the button on the camera. The exam was covered by OHIP and nobody tried to sell us anything at the end.”

    Sofia R.

    Children’s eye exam

  • July 2026

“I expected a pitch for an expensive machine. Instead I got pictures of my eyelid glands, a written home routine, and a follow-up date to check whether it was working. It’s been a much better summer.”

    Graham T.

    Dry-eye assessment

  • July 2026

“First time wearing contacts. Marcus was patient through the teach session and the follow-up caught that my left lens was sitting a little high. Only four stars because Saturday spots book up two weeks out.”

    Aisha M.

    Contact lens fitting

    Reply from Sightline

Thank you, Aisha. You’re right about Saturdays. We’ve added Thursday evening appointments until 7 p.m. to take some of the pressure off.

  • June 2026

“Woke up with a red, gritty eye on a Tuesday and was seen before lunch. Clear explanation, drops prescribed, and a call two days later to make sure it was settling.”

    Robert P.

    Urgent visit

  • May 2026

“Brought in a prescription from another clinic and was treated like any other customer. They adjusted my old frames for free while I waited, too.”

  • May 2026

“Dr. Roy measured our daughter’s eye growth and told us she didn’t need a program yet. More time outside and a recheck in six months. Hard to argue with a clinic that tells you not to spend money.”

    Owen D.

    Myopia consult

  • April 2026

“Thorough exam and a kind doctor. The waiting room was busier than I liked and I waited about 15 minutes past my time.”

    Linda F.

    Senior’s eye exam

    Reply from Sightline

Linda, thank you for telling us. That morning ran late after an urgent visit. We now text patients if we’re running more than 10 minutes behind.

Our review policy

How we handle reviews.

  • No rewards for reviews

We never offer discounts, draws or gifts in exchange for a review, good or bad.

  • Privacy first in every reply

We never mention your health, your prescription or your visit in a public reply, even if you did.

  • Problems get a phone call

If something went wrong, our practice manager will call you. We would rather fix it than argue online.
