If a price isn't on this page, we don't charge it. And if your plan covers something you don't clinically need, we'll still tell you that you don't need it.
Direct billing
You pay the difference, not the total.
- We bill most major Canadian vision-care plans directly — you pay the difference, not the total, and skip the claim form.
- Bring your insurance card or plan details to any visit; the front desk confirms your coverage before you commit to anything.
- OHIP covers a yearly exam for patients 19 and under and 65 and over, and many medically necessary visits in between.
- Coverage never decides our recommendation. If your plan covers a lens option you don’t need, we’ll still tell you that you don’t need it.

Frames and lenses are priced on the eyewear page in plain bands. Fees may be updated once a year; the number quoted when you book is the number you pay.
OHIP, in one paragraph
Who Ontario already covers
OHIP pays for one full eye exam per year if you’re 19 or under or 65 and over — bring a valid health card and there’s nothing to pay for the exam itself. In between, OHIP still covers visits for specific medical conditions (diabetes monitoring and certain diagnoses among them) and many urgent problems; we check what applies before your visit starts, so the first time money comes up is before care, never after.
