Drywall from $119

Drywall repair Patch it right

Patches that disappear: doorknob holes, nail pops, anchor scars and ceiling stains after the leak is fixed.

How we do it

A good patch is boring to look at. You should not be able to find it a month later. That takes thin coats, real dry time, and a texture match that is done by hand.

So most patches are two short visits: patch and tape on day one, then sand, texture and prime on day two. Both visits are in the price. We do not rush mud to save a trip.

What it usually costs

Ranges cover typical Omaha-area homes. Labor and basic supplies are in the price; parts are extra unless the line says otherwise. We confirm the number before we book.

Mixing jobs on one visit?

Lists are billed by the hour from $89 (two-hour minimum), or as a half day from $340. Usually that works out cheaper than the per-job prices added up.

  • Nail pops and small holes, up to 10 in one room 1 to 1.5 hrs $119 to $179
  • Doorknob-size hole (up to 6 in) 2 short visits $159 to $229
  • Medium patch (up to 12 x 12 in) 2 short visits $219 to $319
  • Large patch or cut-out (up to 2 x 4 ft) 2 to 3 visits $349 to $549
  • Ceiling stain patch after the leak is fixed 2 visits $249 to $399
  • Texture match add-on (orange peel or knockdown), per patch 15 to 30 min $49 to $99
  • Paint the patched wall (your paint) 45 min to 1.5 hrs $59 to $129

Sample prices for a demo site. Trip fee applies outside Zone 1.

Always included

  • Plastic sheeting and a HEPA vacuum for dust
  • Patch, tape, mud, sand and primer
  • Both visits, with no second trip fee
  • An honest word when a full repaint will look better than a patch

Before we come

  1. Fix the leak first. We check the spot is dry before we patch.
  2. Find your leftover paint can. The lid usually has the color code.
  3. Pull furniture a few feet from the wall if you can.

  • Ceiling stains after a fixed leak
  • Anything on the price list above

Needs a licensed trade

  • Mold behind the wall → Mold remediation company
  • An active leak (we check with a moisture meter first) → Licensed plumber or roofer first
  • Cracks that keep coming back above doors and windows → Foundation pro or structural engineer
  • Popcorn ceilings from before 1980 → Asbestos test first, then a licensed abatement crew

If it needs a license or a permit, it is not on our list. We tell you on the phone, and we point you to a licensed pro we trust.

Questions about drywall

Why does a patch take two visits?

Joint compound needs to dry between coats. Rushing it is how you get a patch that shows through the paint. Two short visits keeps it invisible, and the price already includes both.

Will the patch match my wall texture?

We match orange peel and knockdown by hand and get it close. On a big smooth wall with raking light, we will tell you if a full wall coat looks better.

  • Doorknob hole
  • Nail pops

Two short visits, just like they said. I genuinely cannot find the patch now. Darnell even found the paint code on my old can.

  • Ceiling stain

They checked the old leak spot with a moisture meter and told us to wait a week because it was still damp. Came back, patched it, and you would never know.
