Repairs from $49

Home repairs Small fixes

The small fixes that pile up: sticky doors, loose railings, dripping faucets, tired caulk and torn screens.

How we do it

Most homes have a handful of small things that never quite get fixed. A door that has to be shoved shut. A faucet that drips all night. Caulk that turned grey two winters ago.

None of them is a big job, and that is the point. We fix them together, in one visit, so you are not booking five different people for five small jobs.

  • Faucet and toilet part swaps
  • Caulk, weatherstrip and screens

Price list

What it usually costs

Ranges cover typical Omaha-area homes. Labor and basic supplies are in the price; parts are extra unless the line says otherwise. We confirm the number before we book.

Questions about repairs

Do you do plumbing?

Only like-for-like swaps at the fixture: a faucet, a fill valve, a flapper, a toilet reset. If a pipe has to move, or the leak is inside the wall, that is a licensed plumber, and we will say so before we come.

Can you fix a door that will not latch?

Usually, yes. Most of the time it is a loose hinge screw or a strike plate that needs moving. If the frame has shifted a lot, we will tell you what we see and what it might mean.

  • Tub caulk
  • Toilet flapper

Old caulk out, new caulk in, and the line along the tile is actually clean. She fixed our running toilet while the caulk set.

  • Faucet swap
  • Weatherstrip

Asked about moving our kitchen sink over a foot. They said that is a plumber's job, gave me two names, and still swapped the faucet we already had. I liked the honesty.
