Mounting from $49

TV & shelf mounting Level, first try

TVs, floating shelves, mirrors, curtain rods and gallery walls. Into studs or the right anchor, and level.

How we do it

Mounting is mostly measuring. We find the studs, mark the layout with tape and a laser, and you sign off on the height before we drill a single hole.

Then we load-test the mount before the TV goes up, hide the cords in a paintable cover, and take the boxes with us.

  • TVs up to 85 in, on drywall or brick
  • Floating shelves and heavy mirrors
  • Curtain rods, blinds and gallery walls

Price list

What it usually costs

Ranges cover typical Omaha-area homes. Labor and basic supplies are in the price; parts are extra unless the line says otherwise. We confirm the number before we book.

Before we come

  1. Have the TV and the mount on site. We can bring a mount at cost if you ask.
  2. Think about height. Seated eye level is about 42 in to the center of the screen.
  3. Have someone home who can decide on the final spot.

TV & shelf mounting: where our part stops

On our list

  • TVs up to 85 in, on drywall or brick
  • Floating shelves and heavy mirrors
  • Curtain rods, blinds and gallery walls
  • Anything on the price list above

Needs a licensed trade

  • Adding or moving an outlet behind the TV → Licensed electrician (we can schedule around them)
  • Running power cables inside the wall → Licensed electrician
  • Mounting above a fireplace that runs too hot → We check the heat clearance, and sometimes we say no

If it needs a license or a permit, it is not on our list. We tell you on the phone, and we point you to a licensed pro we trust.

Questions about mounting

Can you hide the cords inside the wall?

We hide them in a slim cover painted to match the wall. Running power inside the wall is electrical work, so that goes to a licensed electrician. We are happy to plan the layout with them.

Will my drywall hold a big TV?

Drywall alone will not. We mount into studs, and if the studs are in an awkward spot we use a mount that spans them. We will not hang a TV on anchors alone.

  • 65 in TV
  • Cord cover
  • 2 shelves

He marked the studs and the height with painter's tape and asked me to sign off before drilling a single hole. The TV is dead level and the cords are hidden in a cover that matches the wall.

  • Gallery wall
  • Heavy mirror

Laid out all eight frames on the floor first, then on the wall in tape. The mirror is on a proper cleat now instead of one nail. Worth the $25 trip fee from Bellevue.
