Example prices

Prices you can plan around.

Example ranges for typical South Sound homes in 2026. After an inspection, your written scope turns a range into a firm number. Under each price is what makes it go up or down.

Size it up

A rough range for remediation, in two questions.

How big is the area you can see?
Where is it?

Full containment and negative air.

  • Inspection first, if not done$325 to $575
  • Independent clearance$350 to $650

A planning range, not a quote. Rebuild and repairs by other trades are separate.

What gets quoted separately

  • Putting things back Drywall, paint, trim and flooring after removal. Our carpentry crew can quote it, or your own contractor can.
  • Repairs by other trades A roof leak, a plumbing repair or new gutters. We name the problem; a roofer or plumber may fix it.
  • Duct cleaning If ducts are involved, a duct specialist cleans them. We set it up and coordinate.
  • Contents Cleaning or replacing furniture, clothes and boxes from the work area is quoted on its own.

Insurance, in general terms

Many home policies exclude mold or cap it at a small amount. Some cover mold that results from a sudden, covered water event, like a burst pipe, but not mold from slow leaks or ongoing humidity. Every policy is different, so read yours and call your agent before work starts.

We provide the photos, readings and written scope an adjuster usually asks for. We don't bill insurers directly and we can't promise what a policy will pay.

How we keep quotes honest

  • A written scope before workSquare feet, materials, containment plan, moisture fix and a price range.
  • Changes in writing firstIf we open a wall and find more, we stop, show you, and update the scope before going on.
  • Ranges, then a firm numberThe range comes from the inspection. The firm price is on the signed scope and doesn't move unless the scope does.
  • Failed clearance is on usIf an area we remediated doesn't pass, we re-clean and pay for the retest.

Water coming in right now? Shut off the supply if you can and call a water damage company first. Mold work comes after things are dry.
