Fees
Flat fees, in writing
One attorney fee for each kind of case, written in your fee letter before you sign. Government filing fees are separate, listed at the current amount, and never marked up.
One price for each kind of case
If the scope changes, for example a new Request for Evidence on a case you filed yourself, we tell you the cost before doing any extra work. Most fees can be split into up to six monthly payments with no interest.
Consultation: $150 for 45 minutes with an attorney, credited to your flat fee if you hire us within 30 days.
Every flat fee includes
- Every form prepared and reviewed by an attorney
- An evidence plan and a binder built by our paralegal
- Answers to your questions within one business day
- Interview preparation, and an attorney beside you where allowed
- Your next deadline on our calendar
Every fee, by kind of case
Attorney fees, starting prices. Your exact fee is written in your fee letter after the consultation.

Not in our fee
These costs come from outside the firm. We list each one in your fee letter so nothing arrives as a surprise.
- Government filing fees, paid directly to the agency. They change, so your fee letter lists the current amounts before anything is filed.
- The medical exam, paid to the civil surgeon or panel physician.
- Certified translations, at cost from our translator or from one you choose.
- Fees for records from other countries, courts or police departments.
Ask for your
fee letter.
