How we do it

A plated dinner is the calmest way to feed a room. Guests stay seated, toasts land between courses and nobody waits in a line in their good shoes.

We plate on site, in the venue kitchen or our own field kitchen, so food goes from pan to plate to table in minutes. Each course goes out at once, table by table.

Guests can choose from two or three entrées. We collect the counts from you and mark each choice on the escort card, so servers know who gets what.

Included every time

  • Servers at 1 per 12 guests, plus a dinner captain
  • China, flatware and glassware ordered for you at cost plus 10%
  • Allergy plates cooked and plated separately, labelled with the guest's name
  • Bread service and water poured at the table

Allergies and dietary needs

We label every dish with its allergens and cook allergy plates apart. We are not an allergen-free kitchen, so we can't promise zero cross-contact.

Plated dinners questions

How long does a plated dinner take?

About 75 minutes for three courses with 150 guests, plus time for toasts. We pace it with your planner.

What if a guest forgot their entrée choice?

We cook 5% extra of each entrée for exactly this. Nobody leaves hungry.

Do you have a kitchen we can use?

We bring our own field kitchen when the venue has none: induction burners, ovens and a prep tent. It is quoted as its own line.
