Aesthetic medicine is elective, which means the financial conversation deserves the same honesty as the medical one. Here is every way to pay at Lumen — including when each one is a bad idea.

Pay per visit

Published prices, written quotes

The default, and right for most people. Every treatment is quoted in writing at consultation — per unit, per syringe, per session — before anything is booked.

  • No commitment beyond the visit you book
  • Quotes are valid for 60 days — no expiry pressure
  • Two-week injectable reviews included, never billed

If a clinic can't tell you the price before the needle, that's a signal. Ours are on this website.

Series pricing

Save 8–10% on prepaid series

Laser hair removal, microneedling, peels, and RF tightening genuinely work in series — so prepaying the series your plan already calls for costs a little less.

  • Only sold where a series is clinically the plan anyway
  • Unused sessions refundable at the per-session rate, minus sessions used
  • Series never expire while the clinic operates

We won't upsell a series where a single session answers the question. The savings exist because series patients cost us less to schedule — that's the whole story.

Lumen Skin Plan

$179 / month

A monthly medical facial or light peel, plus 10% off other treatments and home-care. For people who would book monthly anyway.

  • 10% off treatments and skincare while active
  • Cancel anytime after month three; unused visits bank for six months

Only worth it if monthly visits are already your rhythm — at less than ten visits a year, pay per visit and keep the flexibility.

Third-party financing

Financing exists. Here's what we'd tell a friend before they sign.

We partner with a third-party medical-financing provider that offers instalment plans from 6 to 24 months. Some patients find it useful for larger plans like resurfacing series or body contouring. Before you sign anything, here is what we'd tell a friend:

  • Promotional 0% plans are real but conditional — miss the payoff window on a deferred-interest plan and interest applies retroactively to the full amount, typically at 27–30% APR.
  • Standard (non-promotional) plans run roughly 10–30% APR depending on your credit — that is a real cost on top of your treatment.
  • Financing approval is a credit decision by the lender, not by us; applying involves a credit check.
  • Aesthetic treatments are elective. If financing is the only way a plan fits, our honest advice is a smaller plan — skin-health programs start at $160 and phase beautifully.

No one at Lumen earns commission on financing sign-ups, and we will never present financing as a reason to book a bigger plan than you came in wanting.

  • No same-day-only discounts, ever; quotes hold for 60 days

  • The consultation fee ($75) is credited in full to your first treatment
  • We say no when a treatment isn't in your interest — about one consult in five ends that way

Frequently asked, honestly answered

Do you price match?
No. Product, provider time, and training are our costs; a lower price elsewhere is usually a different product, dose, or injector economics. We'd rather explain our quote line by line.
Is treatment covered by MSP or insurance?
Cosmetic treatments aren't covered by provincial health insurance, and only rarely by private plans (some medical indications differ). Budget as if nothing is covered.
What does the $75 consultation actually buy?
Forty-five minutes with a provider, a written plan with exact numbers, and — about one time in five — advice to spend nothing at all. Credited in full to your first treatment.
