Where every good plan starts — and the best value in the clinic.

If you're new to aesthetic medicine, this is almost always where we'll point you first. Skin-health treatments cost the least, risk the least, and make everything else work better — lasers land better on a healthy barrier, and makeup-free skin confidence often changes what people want from injectables.

Our medical facials and peels are performed by clinicians working from your chart, not a spa menu. That matters when you're on actives like retinoids, recently lasered, or managing conditions like rosacea or acne that change what your skin can tolerate.

We'll also build (or edit) your home routine. Expect us to cut products as often as we add them — most routines we audit have too many actives, not too few. We sell a small shelf of medical-grade skincare, and we'll tell you honestly when the drugstore version is just as good.

How it works

Step by step, nothing sprung on you

  1. Skin assessment

History, current products, skin conditions, and goals. If something needs a physician's eye — suspicious lesions, cystic acne, melasma — Dr. Sethi weighs in before we plan anything.

  2. Foundation first

Barrier repair, sun protection, and a workable routine come before any intense treatment. Boring, and the single highest-return step in aesthetics.

  3. Treat in series

Peels and microneedling work cumulatively. We'll map the series and spacing, and adjust based on how your skin actually responds.

  4. Season + maintain

Vancouver's UV, rain, and indoor heating all change what your skin needs. We re-tune routines at review visits — usually by simplifying them.

Realistic expectations

  • Skin-health work improves quality gradually — glow in days, texture in weeks, scarring over months.
  • Microneedling for acne scarring gives real but partial improvement; deep rolling scars may also need laser or subcision.
  • No facial 'detoxifies' anything — we'll never sell you that word, here or anywhere.
  • Consistency beats intensity: a modest routine done daily outperforms an aggressive one abandoned by March.

Downtime: None to a few days of peeling

  • Medical facials: none — a great lunch-hour appointment.
  • Light peels: possible light flaking for 2–3 days.
  • Medium peels: 4–6 days of visible peeling — we schedule these with your calendar open.
  • Microneedling: 24–48 hours of redness like a mild sunburn; makeup after 24 hours.

What results actually look like on a calendar — first visible, peak, duration — is written out per treatment in the results gallery.
