Preventive screenings

The checks and vaccines that catch problems early, matched to your age and history, so you know exactly what you're due for.

  • Usually part of a physical, or a 10-minute nurse visit
  • Both clinics

Screenings work best when someone keeps track. We check what you're due for at every physical, do the simple tests here, book the rest for you, and send a reminder when it's time again. Use the checklist below for a quick look at what's common for your age.

Book this visit for

  • Blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes screening
  • Colon cancer screening: home stool test or colonoscopy referral
  • Cervical and breast cancer screening
  • Lung cancer screening for people who qualify
  • Bone density checks
  • Flu, shingles, pneumonia, Tdap and other adult vaccines
  • Depression and anxiety screening

What happens at the visit

  1. We check what you're due for

Your clinician reviews your age, history and past results at each physical.

  2. Simple tests done here

Blood pressure, lab draws, home stool test kits and most vaccines happen at the clinic.

  3. Referrals booked for you

Mammograms, colonoscopies and imaging are booked with trusted local partners, and your records go ahead of you.

  4. Reminders when it's time

The portal reminds you when a screening comes due again, so it doesn't depend on your memory.

Questions people ask

How do I know what I'm due for?

Use the checklist on this page for a quick look, then ask at your next physical. Your clinician tailors the list to your history.

Can I get a flu shot without a full visit?

Yes. During flu season, both clinics run short nurse visits for flu shots. Book a 10-minute slot online or ask at any visit.

Do you do colonoscopies here?

No. We offer a home stool test kit, or we refer you to a gastroenterology practice and send your records ahead.
