How our gallery works
Our gallery shows Dr. Merrow's own patients, shared with their written consent. Here is how every photo is taken, chosen and labelled, so you know exactly what you are looking at.
The panels on this page are illustrations, not patient photos. They show how a case is laid out in our gallery. Real cases are shown in our patient gallery and at your consultation, only with each patient's written consent. Results vary from person to person and are not a promise of your result.

Our photo standards
Six rules behind every photo we show

Same setup, every time
Same room, lighting, background, distance and angles before and after, so the change you see is the surgery, not the camera.

No retouching or filters
Photos are cropped for privacy and nothing else. No smoothing, no reshaping, no flattering light on the after photo only.

Healed results only
After photos are taken at least 6 months after breast and body surgery and 12 months after rhinoplasty, once swelling has settled.

Typical results, not just the best
We show a range of cases for each procedure, including results that are good but not dramatic, because that is what most people get.

Every case is labelled
Procedure, age range, time since surgery, and details like implant type and size, so you can find cases close to your own body.

Privacy first
Faces are masked or cropped unless a patient chooses otherwise. Tattoos and birthmarks are covered. Patients can withdraw consent at any time.
Consent
The consent behind every photo
Every patient has medical photos taken for their own record. Sharing them is a separate choice. Patients who agree sign a consent form that says where photos may appear: in our private consult gallery, on this website, or both. Saying no never changes your care.
Photos are stored in your secure medical record. They are never used in advertising without a second, separate consent, and you can ask us to remove them at any time.
How to judge any surgeon's gallery
- Are the before and after photos taken from the same angle, in the same light?
- How long after surgery was the after photo taken?
- Are there many cases for the procedure, or only a few standout ones?
- Are there cases with a body type, age and starting point like yours?
- Are they the surgeon's own patients, from this practice?
