Gunite or fiberglass?
Both make a beautiful pool. They differ in shape, build time and price, and your yard often decides for you. Here is the short version.
-
340+ backyards since 2011
Pools, spas, remodels and outdoor living across Austin and the Hill Country, built by two in-house crews.
Our project records, 2011 to 2025 (sample figures)
-
10 to 14 weeks on site
A typical gunite build after the permit. Fiberglass: 4 to 7 weeks. Rain and rock add days, and we say so the same week.
Middle range of our 2024 and 2025 builds
-
One written price
Every line priced before you sign, from the permit to the fence. The per-load rock rate is printed in every contract.
Allowances are named, never hidden

How a build runs
Ten stages, one superintendent and a photo update every Friday. These are honest ranges, not best cases.
Permits and safety
Safe before it's filled
The barrier is part of the design. Fence, self-latching gates and door alarms are drawn on your plan, priced in your contract and inspected before the pool is filled.

“The sun study sold us”
Marisol showed us where the shade would be at 4 p.m. in July. We moved the whole pool six feet because of it, and she was right. The Friday photo updates kept us sane.

“The price did not move”
Three builders quoted us. Sunpath was not the cheapest, but it was the only quote that listed the fence, the permit and the electrical. The final invoice matched the contract.

“Ran late, but they told us why”
We hit rock and then had two weeks of rain, so we finished about three weeks past the first date. Grant called the same day each time, and the rock charge matched the rate in our contract exactly.
