In the urban core we aim to arrive within 90 minutes. Weather and storm nights change that, and we will say so.

More than a cleanup

Open 24 hours, 365 days a year

One team from the first call to the last coat of paint

When water, fire or mould gets into your home, you need more than equipment. You need someone to explain what is happening, what to do first, and how the insurance part usually works. That is what we do, and it's easier than you think:

  • Call the line any hour, or start the online intake
  • A crew makes it safe and documents everything
  • We dry, clean and repair, with readings you can see

A real person answers every call, 24 hours a day. No phone tree, no call-back queue.

What we restore

Six kinds of damage, one crew that answers for all of it. Every job gets daily readings, photos, and a plain explanation of what comes next.

  • Water damage

    24/7 Extraction and drying

Burst pipes, leaking water heaters, ice dams and overflowing appliances. We stop the spread, pull out the water and dry the structure with daily readings until it is truly dry.

How we handle it: Water damage
  • Fire and smoke

    24/7 Soot, odour, board-up

After the fire department leaves, we secure the home, clean soot and smoke residue, and remove the odour at its source, not with perfume.

How we handle it: Fire and smoke
  • Mould remediation

24/7 Contain, remove, fix the cause

We find the moisture that feeds the mould, contain the area, remove what's affected and fix the cause, so it does not come back next season.

How we handle it: Mould remediation
  • Storm damage

    24/7 Tarping, board-up, drying

Hurricanes, nor'easters and sudden downpours. We tarp roofs, board windows, and dry what got wet, with a crew that stays on call through the storm.

How we handle it: Storm damage
  • Sewage cleanup

    24/7 Contaminated water

Floor drain backups and toilet overflows are contaminated water. We remove it, take out what cannot be cleaned, sanitize and dry, with the safety gear the job needs.

How we handle it: Sewage cleanup
  • Contents cleaning

    24/7 Pack-out, cleaning, storage

Your belongings get packed, listed, cleaned and stored safely while your home is repaired, then brought back and set up again.

How we know it's dry

Dry is a number, not a feeling. We take moisture readings every day and compare them to a dry part of your home. Below is a sample log from a basement subfloor. Drops turn teal when a reading reaches the dry goal of 15%.

What happens after you call

The same six steps on every job, whether it is a leaking water heater or a kitchen fire.

  1. Step 1

    A person answers

A coordinator picks up, any hour. They ask six quick questions: what happened, where, is it still happening, is the power safe, is everyone okay, and do you have insurance.

  2. Step 2

    You get a real window

We tell you when a crew can be there, based on where they are right now. In the urban core we aim for 90 minutes or less.

  3. Step 3

    We make it safe

The crew stops the source, protects what is not damaged yet, and boards up or tarps if the home is open.

  4. Step 4

    We document everything

Photos, moisture readings and notes on every affected area, the way insurers usually ask for them.

  5. Step 5

    We dry, clean or remove

Equipment runs and we come back every day to take readings and adjust until each area reaches its dry goal.

  6. Step 6

    We repair or hand off

Our rebuild team quotes the repairs, or we hand our reports to your own contractor. Your choice.

Insurance, in plain words

We can explain how claims usually work and document your damage the way insurers ask for it. Only your insurer can decide what your policy covers. Read the full guide.

Sudden and accidental

Damage that happens all at once, like a burst pipe. Many policies cover this type more readily than slow damage.

Sewer backup endorsement

An add-on in many Canadian policies that covers water backing up through drains. Not always included.

Deductible

The part of the claim you pay yourself. It comes off the amount your insurer pays.

Direction to pay

A form you sign so your insurer can pay the restoration company directly. You do not have to sign it on the spot.

Mould: what's safe to do yourself

Small spots on hard surfaces are often a soap-and-water job. Bigger patches, or mould that keeps coming back, mean there is moisture to find. Here's how to tell the difference.

  • “Our water heater let go at 1 a.m. A real person picked up, told us to shut the main valve and that a crew would be there by 2:30. They were there at 2:20. Every morning someone came back with the moisture meter and showed us the numbers.”

    Jen M., Dartmouth

    Water damage

  • “Small stovetop fire, but the smoke got everywhere. They were straight with us about what could be cleaned and what had to go. The smell is completely gone, not covered up.”

    Ahmed R., Clayton Park

    Fire and smoke

  • “Floor drain backed up during the big rain. The crew was professional and careful. It took a day longer than first estimated because of a second wet wall, but they called to explain before going ahead.”
