What windows and doors cost, installed.

These are the same ranges our installers quote from. Your written quote lists every window on its own line and holds for 60 days. No same-day discounts, no price that changes if you wait.

What moves the price

Six things, in order of how much they matter.

What we don't do: "today only" prices, a discount if you sign tonight, or a phone call from a manager who can suddenly do better. If a price needs a deadline, it wasn't a real price.
  1. 01 Size and shape Bigger glass costs more, and arches, circles and odd angles cost a lot more. Most homes use standard-ish sizes.
  2. 02 Frame material Vinyl is the value choice. Fiberglass costs about 50% more. Wood-clad about double vinyl.
  3. 03 Color and grids White is the base price. Dark exteriors and grids add a little per window.
  4. 04 Glass package Our double-pane Low-E argon glass is included. Triple pane adds $150 to $350 a window.
  5. 05 Install type Insert installs are included. Full-frame adds $250 to $600 per opening, and is only worth it when frames are failing.
  6. 06 Surprises in the wall Rot and water damage are the usual ones. We look for them at the measure, so they're on the quote, not the invoice.
