Overview
Why homeowners replace entry doors.
A front door gets opened thousands of times a year and takes the full weather on a north wind. When it sticks, rattles or lets light in around the edge, it is usually the frame that has failed, not just the door.
We replace the whole unit: door, frame, sill and weatherstrip, set plumb and square so it closes with one finger. Then we trim it to match your house.

Straight answers
Is it the right call for your home?
A good fit when
- You can see daylight around the door, or feel air at the sill
- The door sticks in summer and rattles in winter
- The lock barely lines up anymore
- You want more light in a dark front hall
Think twice when
- A newer door that only needs weatherstrip or a sweep. That is a service call, not a new door
- Solid wood facing south or west with no overhang. It will need refinishing often; fiberglass woodgrain is the easier life
Every quote includes
- New door, frame, sill and weatherstrip as one unit
- Set plumb, level and square, then foam-insulated
- Standard handle set and deadbolt, keyed alike on request
- Interior and exterior trim to match the house
- Old door hauled away; 10-year labor warranty
Can you match my old door's size?
Usually yes. Most doors are standard sizes. Older homes sometimes have odd ones, and we either order to size or adjust the opening, and tell you which before you sign.
How long will my house be open?
Only for part of the day. The old door comes out in the morning and the new one is locked and weather-tight by the afternoon. We bring a temporary panel if weather turns.
