From Rosa: Juniper found the new tug toy and shared it, mostly. She skipped the last play block for a nap by the window, which is exactly right.

Every pick-up

A report card, not a guess

Who your dog played with, how they rested, whether they drank and one thing we noticed. Boarding guests get a daily photo and a two-line note instead. If something is off, you get a call, not a footnote.

“I read it in the car before we even pull out.”

Questions owners ask first

What is the first step?

Book a meet-and-greet. For dogs that is a free temperament day (about four hours, Monday to Thursday). For cats it is a ten-minute phone call and an optional tour.

Is someone there overnight?

Yes. An attendant is awake on site from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. every night we have guests, and the lodge manager is on call ten minutes away.

What happens if my dog gets hurt?

We stop the play, give first aid, call you within 30 minutes for anything beyond a small scuff, and send photos and a written report the same day. The full policy, including who pays the vet, is on the requirements page.

Does my dog have to be spayed or neutered?

For group play, yes, once they are over seven months old. Intact dogs are welcome to board and to do private play.

Is there a deposit for boarding?

Yes, one night's fee, which comes off your bill. It is refundable up to 7 days before check-in, or 14 days for holiday stays. After that it can move to another stay within 12 months.

Will my cat hear the dogs?

No. The cat wing is at the far end of the building with its own doors, its own air handling and solid walls.
