How it works here

Daycare at Good Company is group play with grown-up supervision. Dogs are sorted by size and play style, not just by who arrived first, and every yard has a posted staff-to-dog ratio that we keep.

Play is broken up on purpose. Dogs who play for eight hours straight come home wired, not tired, so the day has three rest blocks in quiet rooms with the lights down.

Every dog starts with a free temperament day. It tells us which group fits, or whether your dog would be happier with private play. Both answers are fine.

A daycare day

  1. 7:00 to 9:30

Drop-off. A quick health check at the door: eyes, nose, cough, energy.

  2. 9:30 to 11:30

First play block in the groups you see on the board.

  3. 11:30 to 1:00

Rest block one. Quiet rooms, lights down, lunch if you send it.

  4. 1:00 to 2:30

Second play block, plus sniff walks for dogs who signed up.

  5. 2:30 to 3:30

    Rest block two.

  6. 3:30 to 5:00

Third play block, the calmest of the day.

  7. 5:00 to 6:30

Rest block three, report card written, pick-up.

Questions about dog daycare

How many days a week should my dog come?

Most of our regulars come two or three days a week. Start with one or two and we will tell you honestly how your dog handles it.

Do you feed lunch?

Only if you send it. Most adult dogs do better without a midday meal during play. Puppies under six months get lunch from your food.

Can I drop off after 9:30?

Late drop-off breaks up groups that have just settled, so we keep a firm window. If you are running late, call and we will try to fit a half day.
