Seasonal

The maple oat latte is back until the end of December.

Espresso bar

A double shot of Porch Light in every milk drink, steamed to order and never pre-poured.

Every milk drink starts with a double shot of Porch Light, our espresso blend. We dial it in each morning at every cafe, taste it, and adjust through the day as the room warms up.

Milk is steamed for each cup. We don't batch it, which is why a busy Saturday line moves a little slower than a chain. It's also why the flat white tastes like a flat white.

Oat, almond and soy are 75 cents. Lactose-free costs nothing extra. Our decaf is a Swiss Water process coffee from Peru, and you can have it in any drink.

Espresso from $3.75, lattes from $5.75

How we make it

  1. 01 Dialled in at opening

Before the doors open, the first barista on pulls test shots and tastes them. Grind, dose and time go in the cafe's daybook.

  2. 02 Steamed for your cup

Milk is stretched for each drink, at about 60 to 65 degrees. Ask for extra hot and we'll take it further.

  3. 03 Your name on the cup

Order-ahead drinks wait on the pickup shelf with your name on them. Drinks for here come in a real cup.

Good to know

All questions
Can I get any drink iced?

Yes, any drink on the espresso bar can be iced at no charge. Cappuccinos and flat whites become iced lattes, since foam doesn't survive ice.

Do you charge for oat milk?

Oat, almond and soy are 75 cents because they cost us more. Lactose-free milk is free. We print both on the menu so there are no surprises at the till.

Is your decaf any good?

We think so. It's a Swiss Water process coffee from Peru, roasted the same week as everything else, with cocoa and walnut notes. Any drink can be decaf or half-caf.
