how the calendar worksthree rules · in plain words
Rule 1

Daily, weekly, weekend, monthly

The croissant is daily. The kouign-amann is weekly. The tartine is weekend-only. The cardamom knot is monthly. We tag every item with its return cadence.

Rule 2

Seasonal disappears

When stone fruit ends, galettes go. When apples start, apple croissants begin. We don't bridge — there's no transition week.

Rule 3

We tell you when to return

If something runs once a month, we'll tell you the next date. The shop sends a Sunday email if you've signed the in-store list.

seasonal arcMay → December · what changes when
  1. May

    Stone fruit returns

Frog Hollow's first apricots arrive late month. Galettes appear; cardamom knots disappear; rye-savory tartines retire for summer.

  2. Jun — Aug

    Summer slow-down

Stone fruit galettes through August. Sundays open at 9 instead of 8. Tea returns; coffee shifts to a lighter Bali Blue.

  3. Sep

    Apple month

First Frog Hollow apple variety lands; the pastry case flips to apple-anything for two weeks. Croissant filling rotates.

  4. Oct — Nov

    Sourdough doubles

Cold weather; bread sales lift. We add a second rye day. Tartines flip to ricotta + roasted squash.

  5. Dec

    Stollen + the cookie tins

Helena's Stollen runs all month. Cookie tins ($28, six varieties) become the weekly preorder. Closed Dec 24 — Jan 2.
