Original location (since 2019). 850 sq ft. Counter service + ~22 indoor seats + 8 outdoor seats. Bakery visible through glass — see breads being shaped + baked.
Neighborhood context
Mission District / Mission Dolores corner. Walk-up customers from Mission + Castro + Bernal Heights. Easy BART access (24th Street + 16th Street stations).
Best parking
Mostly walk-up + bike. Some metered street parking on Mission + 18th. Garage parking 3 blocks away on Mission + 17th.
Best time to visit
Tuesday-Friday: morning coffee crowd + lunch. Saturday-Sunday 8-11am most competitive; 1-3pm best for relaxed seating.
Specific Mission character
Slightly more diverse customer base than Berkeley. Spanish-bilingual signage at counter. Local Mission businesses are wholesale customers (4 cafes nearby).

North Berkeley near Cheese Board + Chez Panisse Cafe. Different customer base than Mission — more campus + family + Berkeley regulars.
Best parking
Mostly walk-up + bike. Some metered street parking. Garage parking 2 blocks away at Berkeley Public Library.
Best time to visit
Wednesday-Friday: more relaxed than weekends. Saturday morning competitive; Sunday slightly less. Early afternoon (1-3pm) good for seated meals.
