Studio Mer is a nine-chair hair salon in Pacific Heights, San Francisco. Founded 2017. By appointment only. Stylists are named, not rotated. Color runs through Jemma Voss, training out of Bumble and bumble; the cut runs through Ari Kim, training out of Daniel Galvin London. Pages 04–06 are this season’s services.

Twelve years at chair after Bumble and bumble's New York advanced training. Color-only by choice — does not cut. Single most-booked colorist in the studio.
Trained at Daniel Galvin London. The cut you ask for is rarely the cut you need; Ari finds the second one fast. Notable client roster runs editorial-heavy.
Studio Mer's texture editor. Deva-certified Level 3 plus eight years of methodology beyond the curriculum. Owns our textured-hair clientele.
Five services this issue. Each is a spread of its own; the table of contents below points to each. New clients consult before color sessions; we don’t skip that step.
Our entry-point precision cut. Three stylists. Cut analysis + dry refinement. Includes blowout if you want it.
Full single-process or balayage with Jemma or Ari. Tonal-lift assessment first. Glaze refresh included at week 4 ($95 add-on at booking).

Booking goes to a stylist by name. New color clients book a 20-minute consult first; new cut clients can book a service directly. The salon’s standing policy: we’ll never book you with a stylist you didn’t pick.
