How we work

We tell you what we found, in plain words.

Pain makes people nervous, and a lot of chiropractic marketing makes it worse. Here, your first visit is a conversation and a careful exam. You leave knowing what we think is going on, what we suggest, how many visits, and what it costs.

  1. We explain before we treat You'll hear what we found, what we think is going on, and what we suggest, in plain words. Then you decide.
  2. Short plans with check-ins Every plan has a visit count and a re-check. If you're not clearly better by then, we change course or refer you.
  3. We refer out early Some pain needs a medical doctor, imaging, or a specialist first. When that's you, we say so and help you get there.

What happens

Your first visit, step by step

  1. Before you arrive

    Short forms at home

A ten-minute health history you fill in on your phone. Tasha checks your insurance or PIP coverage and tells you what you'll owe.

  2. Minutes 0 to 15

    We listen

Where it hurts, how it started, what makes it better or worse, and what you want to get back to doing.

  3. Minutes 15 to 30

    A real exam

Posture and movement, joint checks, and nerve, reflex, and strength tests. We screen for anything that needs a medical doctor first.

  4. Minutes 30 to 38

    Your plan, in plain words

What we think is going on, what we suggest, how many visits, and what it costs. You can ask anything, and you can say no.

  5. Minutes 38 to 45

    First treatment, if it fits

Gentle hands-on care and one or two moves to try at home. If chiropractic isn't right for you, we refer you instead.

What patients say

“Dr. Reyes spent the whole first visit actually explaining what was going on with my back. Five visits later I'm sleeping through the night again and I know which stretches to do when it flares.”

All questions
What happens at the first visit?

We talk about your pain and your health history, do a hands-on exam that includes nerve and strength tests, and explain what we found. If chiropractic care fits and you agree, you get your first treatment the same day. It takes about 45 minutes.

Is chiropractic safe?

For most people, chiropractic care is low risk. Mild soreness for a day is common. Serious problems are rare. We screen everyone for warning signs before treatment and explain the risks of anything we suggest.

Will I have to keep coming forever?

No. Your plan has a visit count and an end point. Some people like an occasional check-in visit later on. That's your choice, never a condition of care.

Do you take my insurance?

We file claims with most major health plans and with every auto insurer for PIP. Coverage for chiropractic varies a lot by plan, so we check yours before your first visit and tell you what you'll owe.

Is the $79 special really $79?

Yes, for self-pay new patients. It covers the 45-minute visit, the exam, your plan, and your first treatment. X-rays are extra and only if your exam shows you need them. The special isn't available for Medicare, Medicaid, or other government plans, by law.

What if chiropractic isn't right for me?

Then we tell you at the first visit and point you to the right kind of care, like your doctor, a physical therapist, or a specialist. You only pay for that first visit.

Ready to move a little easier?

First visits are 45 minutes and $79 for self-pay new patients. Most people get in within two days.
