Insurance and PIP
Know what you'll pay before you come in
We file claims with most major health plans and bill every auto insurer for PIP. Send us your card, and you'll hear what you'll likely owe before your first visit.
How coverage works here
Three ways to pay, and many people use more than one. HSA and FSA cards work for all of it.
Health insurance
- Exams and chiropractic adjustments
- Soft-tissue work and rehab exercise, on many plans
- X-rays when they're needed
Co-pays, deductibles, and yearly visit limits apply. Some HMO plans need a referral first.
Auto insurance (PIP)
- Care for injuries from a car crash
- Usually 80% of reasonable costs, up to your limit
- We bill your insurer directly
Florida asks you to get first care within 14 days of the crash to use PIP.
Usually self-pay
- Spinal decompression
- Visits past your plan's yearly limit
- Wellness check-in visits
HSA and FSA cards work for all of it. You'll always know the price before we start.

After a car accident
The 14-day rule matters
Florida's no-fault law asks you to get first medical care within 14 days of a crash to use your PIP benefits. PIP usually pays 80% of reasonable medical costs up to your limit, after any deductible. MedPay, health insurance, or you cover the rest, and we explain it in writing before your second visit.
What to bring
- Your auto insurance card
- Your claim number, if you have one
- Your adjuster's name and phone
- The crash report number, if you have it
- Your health insurance card, as a backup
Missing something? Come anyway. Tasha will help you track it down. You don't need a lawyer to be seen.
Do you take my insurance?
We file claims with most major health plans and with every auto insurer for PIP. Coverage for chiropractic varies a lot by plan, so we check yours before your first visit and tell you what you'll owe.
Is the $79 special really $79?
Yes, for self-pay new patients. It covers the 45-minute visit, the exam, your plan, and your first treatment. X-rays are extra and only if your exam shows you need them. The special isn't available for Medicare, Medicaid, or other government plans, by law.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card?
Yes. Chiropractic care is an eligible medical expense, so HSA and FSA cards work for visits, decompression, and packs.
Do you take Medicare?
Yes. Medicare Part B covers chiropractic adjustments of the spine when they're medically needed. It doesn't cover the exam or X-rays a chiropractor orders, so we explain those costs before we start.
How soon should I come in after a crash?
As soon as you can, and within 14 days. Florida's PIP rules ask for first care within 14 days of the crash, and some injuries take a day or two to show up.
Do I need a lawyer?
No. You can be seen and use your PIP benefits without one. If you have an attorney, we'll send records with your written OK.
