Minute by minute

What happens in the 45 minutes

  1. Before you arrive

    Short forms at home

A ten-minute health history you fill in on your phone. Tasha checks your insurance or PIP coverage and tells you what you'll owe.

Patient coordinator smiling on the phone at the clinic desk while checking insurance benefits
  2. Minutes 0 to 15

    We listen

Where it hurts, how it started, what makes it better or worse, and what you want to get back to doing.

Chiropractor talking with an older patient at the start of his first visit
  3. Minutes 15 to 30

    A real exam

Posture and movement, joint checks, and nerve, reflex, and strength tests. We screen for anything that needs a medical doctor first.

Chiropractor testing a patient's leg and hip while he lies on his back, checking for nerve irritation
  4. Minutes 30 to 38

    Your plan, in plain words

What we think is going on, what we suggest, how many visits, and what it costs. You can ask anything, and you can say no.

Clinician pointing to a spine model while explaining a patient's back pain
  5. Minutes 38 to 45

    First treatment, if it fits

Gentle hands-on care and one or two moves to try at home. If chiropractic isn't right for you, we refer you instead.

What $79 covers, and what it doesn't

Included

  • A 45-minute visit with a chiropractor, not an assistant
  • Full history and a hands-on exam, including nerve tests
  • A written plan with a visit count and a re-check date
  • Your first treatment, if it's safe and you agree
  • One or two home exercises, sent to your phone

Not included

  • X-rays, if your exam shows you need them ($60 to $120)
  • Spinal decompression sessions
  • Visits after the first one

You'll always hear the price of anything extra before we do it, and you can say no.

After visit one

No 50-visit contracts

A first-visit special shouldn't be the start of a sales pitch. Here's what usually happens next, and where you're always free to stop.

Clinician pointing to a spine model while explaining a patient's back pain
  1. Visit 1

You get a plan, or a referral

A visit count, how often, and the price. If chiropractic isn't the right fit, you get a referral instead and pay nothing more.

  2. Visits 2 to 5

    Care, plus homework

Short visits with hands-on care and a quick re-test. Your home exercises change as you improve.

  3. By visit 6

    A formal re-check

We repeat the first-visit tests and compare. Better? We space visits out or finish. Not better? We change course or refer you.

  4. After that

    You decide

Most people finish their plan and stop. Some book an occasional check-in. Either is fine, and neither is required.

About the special

See every price
Is the $79 special really $79?

Yes, for self-pay new patients. It covers the 45-minute visit, the exam, your plan, and your first treatment. X-rays are extra and only if your exam shows you need them. The special isn't available for Medicare, Medicaid, or other government plans, by law.

What if chiropractic isn't right for me?

Then we tell you at the first visit and point you to the right kind of care, like your doctor, a physical therapist, or a specialist. You only pay for that first visit.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes you can move in, like leggings or athletic shorts and a T-shirt. You stay dressed for the whole visit.
